Request XG1V4 Cable Box

Hi,

I would like to request an XG1V4 cable box to replace my current box.  How to I go about that process?

@thunderwoods64 thank you so much for your post on how to get a 4k box! Some of our local Xfinity service centers do have them on hand but we can always help get one sent out for you if would like as well. If you would like help getting an order placed to have a new box shipped for you please

We requested an XG1v4 box a week ago.  Heard absolutely nothing from Comcast the whole week.  Got an agent in chat who eventually told us there were no XG1v4 boxes available anywhere in our area AND none available to ship!  Despite the clear description at the top of the conversation that this was regarding a 4K box...they went ahead and were about to send us another basic non-4K box and add it to our bill.  We only have one TV and never asked for an additional box at all as it was our clear understanding this would be a swap entailing only a $15 shipping charge and a return of the original box using the same container the non-existent 4K box would come in.
