Request to remove pedestal or relocate into a flush ground box

Hello,

I own a home in Minnetonka, MN with a Comcast cable pedestal in the front lawn, about 15 feet from the curb next to the driveway. It gets in the way of mowing and yard maintenance and spoils the look of the front yard.

I'd like Comcast to either:

1. Remove the pedestal if it no longer serves any active customers, or

2. If it is still needed, relocate the equipment into a flush-mount, at-grade ground box (handhole) at or near the same spot so nothing sticks up above the lawn.

Either way, I'd ask that the turf be restored once the work is done. The other telecom provider just removed its pedestal from my yard, so this is the only one left.

Please open a request with the local technicians. I'm happy to send my name, service address, phone and email by direct message.

Thanks,

Matt
