Request to Remove Inactive Xfinity Aerial Drop Line
Hello,
I am requesting removal of the inactive Xfinity/Comcast aerial service drop at my property.
We recently discontinued Xfinity service and have switched to fiber internet. We do not intend to use the Xfinity connection, so the coaxial drop from the utility pole to our house is no longer needed.
The line runs a significant distance across our property and directly over our basketball court. Because of its location, the line is frequently struck by basketballs during normal use of the court. I would therefore like the entire inactive aerial drop removed, including the coaxial cable and its supporting messenger/tension wire, from the utility pole to the attachment point on the house.
Please create a service request for the appropriate line/maintenance team to remove the abandoned drop. I am not requesting that the line be relocated or repaired; I would like the unused service drop removed entirely.
Please confirm that the request has been submitted and provide the service request/ticket number if available.
Thank you,
