Request to cancel internet service
Good morning, I would like to cancel my internet service because I am moving and xfinity is not available at my destination. I currently have a year-long contract that I believe expires at the end of October, and I have made my final payment.

@user_gdfu3y I am so sorry to see you leaving! We can certainly help with your request here through direct message. Once the account is disconnected you do receive a printed statement to show that service is discontinued, please make sure to include your forwarding address for this as well.
To send us a direct message please follow these steps below and make sure to include your full name and current address:
• Make sure you are signed in here in the Xfinity Forum. Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message" icon (square chat icon in the upper right corner of your screen next to the bell icon)
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send it
