Request for Utility Easement/Vacation approval - Please Elevate Issue to Engineering / Right of Way Department

We are the property owners of [Edit: Personal Information]. We are proposing to vacate a platted utility easement affecting an interior portion of Lot 8 as part of a boundary line adjustment. We are married and intend to build a pool in between our properties for our large families.

Please confirm whether Comcast has any active or planned facilities (cable, fiber, pedestals, etc.) in the subject easement. If no facilities exist, We humbly request a written release of Comcast’s rights in the easement for recording purposes. If facilities exist, please disclose their presence and whether release or relocation is feasible.

Thank you for your assistance.

user_yx7sh0 Welcome to our community forum! Thank you for reaching out so we can help you with the utility easement request. Have you already contacted your city to request an easement consent form? Once you've obtained the documentation and filled it out we can forward the PDF document to our construction team for review.

Thank you for the response.  I am an Architect and have reached out to the City of Indianapolis and was advised to get at existing Utility Easement Vacation Approval from all the utility providers.  I have completed approvals from Citizens Energy Group, AES (Electrical), and AT&T - all approved.  Comcast is my last utility provider.  I have Completed a new survey with new Legal Description already by a professional survey company.  I am happy to share these pdf's with your team.

I am happy to share with your Construction team.
