I am requesting an overhead-to-underground drop relocation for my Comcast service to move my current direct overhead line to a new underground setup. Here are the specific technical details of my property layout to assist your engineering and construction team: Pole to Pedestal Distance: The existing, in-service electrical service pedestal is located approximately 10 feet from the service utility pole. New Demarcation Point: I am moving the Comcast Coax demarcation point from the house to this electrical service pedestal. Hardware & Infrastructure: A dedicated demarcation box is already physically installed at the electrical service pedestal. Cabling: The conduit running from the pedestal to the house is fully installed, and USTG RG6 (Underground Service/Tunnel Grade) coaxial cable has already been pulled through it to the home. Because the trenching, conduit, house-side cabling, and enclosure are already taken care of, I just need Comcast to transition the overhead service drop down the utility pole, run the short ~10-foot underground segment to the pedestal, and terminate the connection inside the installed demarcation box.
