With EPON locations, you are able to use your own router, but connecting any devices to it would not be supported by us. You would need to reach out to your router support/manufacture for more assistance with any devices you need to connect to the router. We would be able to assist with the modem/gateway that is still connected, but since your router is not our equipment, it would be outside what we are able to assist with.
