Reporting an outage.
How can I actually report an outage? The outage map says there are no reported outages in my area. When I click on 'report an outage', that link takes me to the chat bot. The chat bot just sends a link to the outage map. It's a never ending cycle. Yesterday, there were constant interruptions with my internet. The outage map actually said that work was being performed in my area. That's at least better than claiming there is no outage at all. I have had nothing but bad experiences with your customer service. The chat bot is useless. If restarting the modem doesn't solve the problem, it offers to schedule a technician and tells me that I may be charged for the visit. In the past few months, your agents have told me that the problem is with my equipment, then the next day I get a call from a different agent admitting that there had, in fact, been an outage in my area due to work being performed. Why is it so difficult to just get accurate information???

@user_30no3p Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us here on Forums I can see why that would leave you questioning the information you're receiving. When you're experiencing repeated service interruptions and the tools available are pointing you in circles, it can make it difficult to determine what's actually happening. As far as reporting service interruptions you can try from our website as you attempted or text OUT to 266278 (COMCST). Are you still experiencing any service interruptions our team would like to review your account with you.
