Repeated service outages

I have been experiencing full service outages, both cable and internet for four straight evenings.  The app shows unknown repair windows and 'network damage' as the cause every time.  Can someone please explain what is happening?

Service interruptions can sometimes occur due to unexpected issues, and in many cases, they’re related to problems affecting the local service tower in your area. Depending on the issue, the interruption might extend or be intermittent for days. Do you see an estimated time for resolution on the Xfinity App? If not, you can sign up for notifications via the Xfinity App or online through our Support Page. It's the most reliable way to stay informed. You should receive a notification once the service is restored.

Lost my service for no reason after it was on for 4 days turn off and turn on for 2 days and then disconnected again completely. Very upset

@XfinityDilary​ As stated in previous post, no repair window or ETA for service restoration given in the app.

Hey there user_881t9w! As someone that works from home and relies on my service to do my job, I can certainly understand why you would be upset by your service getting knocked out for so long. You mentioned you were disconnected completely. Are your services still out currently?

user_0ejwxr In that case, it means our team is still working to repair the services in the area. The best option here would be to set up notifications to be informed as soon as there's an ETA available. Have you set up notifications on the app?
