Repeated internet outages

I live in McHenry, Illinois and it seems our internet has been going out alot more lately. What's going on with these repeated outages? Sometimes it's several times a week and sometimes it's more than once a day. Can we at least get some compensation on our bill or something? A lower payment? Because this is ridiculous.

user_vnvvp9 Thank you so much for your post on the interruptions you have been having in your area. I could not even begin to guess what is going on with your connection since our network can be very local depending on the issue you may have service but your neighbor did not. If unplanned it could be caused from something like the weather or a tree taking down lines. It could also be an accident that damaged our equipment and in some cases I have even seen vandalism repeatedly that caused issues but we always strive to get services back up and running as soon as we can.

We have started a simplified interruption adjustment experience for all our customers who qualify.

To qualify for this adjustment once services are restored please log into our awesome website:

https://www.xfinity.com/support/account-management/credits/outage/details? With this wonderful self-service option, you can be able to tell us about your experience in the Xfinity Status Center. Please follow the prompts all the way through. You will then be able to review your submission and can add the adjustment to your account. Please let us know if you have any questions about this process. We are always happy to help!
