Repeated failure to resolve the problem

I have been going through this for a year! I've proven the debt is not mine, I've provided all the documentation and had multiple phone conversations yet the debt keeps returning to my credit profile. The collection agency is blaming Xfinity and Xfinity is blaming them while I'm the only person who is truly affected. I am very confused as to why this has to be so complicated. I've done the hardest work by proving that it's not my debt! I have grown very tired of having to repeat the events over and over again and based on previous posts here, Xfinity has an issue with fraud cases. I've talked to no less than 10 people to resolve this and I cannot get it done. Finding the right person to talk

Concern moved here to the Billing help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

@user_ugcwhy Have you been directed to our resources for fraud and identity theft resolution? In that article there is a form to fill out or another website towards the bottom of the page to report fraud.

@XfinityBradM Hello. Yes, I have done everything I was supposed to do. And today, less than 2 months later, it's happened again. I'm very confused about how this debt that isn't mine is being passed around from one collection agency to another when Comcast is the company reporting the debt exists. I understand that debt companies just sell debt to whoever is buying it but if Comcast would actually close the case then there would be no debt to report. It still shows "open" which is why debt collectors can get it. I am contacting a lawyer at this point, maybe then it can be resolved permanently instead of just a few months.
