Removing coax cable from outside pole to my residence

I cancelled my Xfinity service. How can I remove the coax cable from the outside pole to my residence? My new service is fiber optic; I will never need the coax again.

Thank you for contacting us on the forums, @user_d182f7! I'm sorry to hear we lost you as a customer, but appreciate the opportunity to help you out with this. To confirm, you want the coax completely removed from your residence, and not just relocated, correct?

You are correct.  I want Xfinity to remove the coax from the pole to the house. It could be a bit dangerous for a homeowner to do.

I will be responsible for removing the coax inward from the point where it touches the house.

Thanks.

I am looking into this process right now, and I just need a little more information from you. We don't ask for specific personal info on a public forum, so could you send us a DM to get started? Thanks!

In case anyone is curious about what Xfinity will do with an outside cable for which a homeowner no longer has a use, here's the response from customer service:

"At this time, we do not move cables for aesthetic purposes, only moving it if there was damage to it or the main connection. Once the equipment is attached, it does become part of your property."
