remove xfinity from peacock

I have been trying to get Xfinity removed from my Peacock account since last week. It is still there. I have done the chat and spoke with someone on the phone I was told 48 hours and nope. This is free because we are platinum we would rather pay peacock for the version with no ads. We have tried all the instructions none of them work. We opened the peacock account on our own and had it before xfinity offered the reward. The instructions to remove it through the tv box don't work and when you use the instructions to go through the manage entertainment page you get an error message. I am over this and the awful service. I have been given inaccurate information over and over. 

I did a google search and see this has been an issue for a year so how do I resolve this?
