Remove unused utility pedestal from my property

I am putting up a new outbuilding and need to have a cylindrical green pedestal removed.  A previous call resulted in a technician coming to verify that no houses in the area use this box...but was not the right person to authorize its removal.  He escalated the request but I have not heard back from xfinity in months.  We are now moving forward with the building process and need to have the box removed.

Hello, @user_t7ifd4. I sincerely apologize for the time it has taken to getting this pedestal removed. I'll be more than happy to check the status of this work order.

In order to get started, can you please send me a private message to Xfinity Support by clicking the chat icon in the top right?

Thanks, Raul.  I attempted to direct message you...but when I clicked on the icon and tried to send a message to "XfinityRaul", your name did not appear.  Perhaps you could direct message me first?

Those pedestals are usually on an easement.  Even though a technician determined that pedestal was no longer in use, it would be a good idea to get with your city/county to make sure it is okay to build on the easement and that no other utilities will need to access that area.
