Remove old phone cables

Hi I have unused aerial landline cables running to my house I am trying to get removed. How do I go about this? (we only use your cable internet, these have been unused for years).

You will likely need to have an electrical contractor out to your home to determine if the lines are still active for some purpose you may be unaware of. They can also help you identify if a company owns those lines as they may not be from Comcast. Today, Comcast only sends their services to a home via a coax or fiberoptic cable. Additionally, Comcast will not remove cables that they did not install/currently providing service through.

@Here4Help Thanks for the fast reply. I understand that today you use coax/fiber, but before that you used regular phone cables correct? I've been informed that Comcast did install these cables.
