Remove old lines and boxes

My home that has an two exterior boxes, a satellite dish that are attached to the exterior of the home and cable lines from previous services. I do not currently use Xfinity services, how do I contact somebody to get a technician sent out to remove the no longer needed boxes and cable lines?

Thanks for reaching out. Cable companies typically leave satellite dishes, cable lines, and taps in place so future customers can connect service without additional installation charges.

 

If you’d like the tap and cable lines removed, please send us a direct message with your first and last name and complete service address.

 

Here are the detailed steps to direct message us:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon

Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon

In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support"

As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.

Press Enter to send it.
