Remove Choice TV From Current Plan
Hello, I currently have a Choice TV and Superfast Internet plan with Xfinity, and I would like to remove Choice TV from my plan. I started my plan with Xfinity on September 20, 2021, with the Basic TV and Extreme Internet services in a package that included discounts. The Choice TV was only included as a part of the package since the discount covered most of its cost, but I am now looking to remove it from our plan and I am unable to. When I try to customize my plan on the website or app and click edit on Choice TV to remove it, I get the message "Unable to remove this service. It may be part of a package deal, or you may be under a term agreement for a specific period of time". I am fairly confident that I am not under a term agreement still as it has been over a year since I signed up and did not sign a multi-year contract, so that means it is because it is a part of a package deal. As I do not see any way to remove the service on my end, I need help in either canceling my plan with the package deal and starting a new plan with just Superfast Internet, or removing the TV service and keeping my Internet plan with the help of an Xfinity Employee. After looking at some other posts it seems that Direct Messaging is most likely the way to go from here, but I needed to make my first post before I had access to that, so this is my initial request for help. Post has been resolved and the service was removed from the plan through Direct Messaging with Xfinity Employees.
