Remove cable and pole

Hello - we are not Xfinity customers but our new build house has an old cable attached to an old pole in our garden.  Please can you advise how we can get the cable removed so the pole can come down.  Thanks!

polebegone, Thank you for reaching out to Xfinity Support. The best place to start is to contact the power company in your area. They would be the ones to determine if a pole can be removed, and then they should reach out to us to remove the cable.

Hello! They (Eversource) have determined that it can be removed - they disconnected their wires, and verizon disconnected theirs.  Only one left is Comcast - that's why I'm reaching out here! What are next steps?

polebegone Thank you for clarifying that. It sounds like we'll need to get a ticket opened on our end to let your local team know that we need to move wires to the new pole. Please send us a DM to Xfinity Support with your full name and address to get started.

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
A "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
