removal of trimmed tree branches and lawn repair
A few days ago a contractor removed a number of branches from a neighbor's tree to prepare for some line work. They left those branches in a pile in our yard. Yesterday an xfinity bucket truck came out and did the line work, and the truck tore up our lawn near the street. When they left, the lawn was a mess and the pile of branches is still there. This seems terribly unprofessional. Do you have a contractor who comes out later to clean up the mess your line crews leave behind, or do adjacent homeowners just have to suck it up do this work themselves?

Thank you very much for reaching out to our team here @user_7nmexx. That is definitely not the way we would like to leave those construction sites. Normally they will have set up a order to make sure that is cleaned up. If you could send us a direct message with the full name and complete address for where that is, we can reach out to check on that for you.
To send a direct message [private message]:
Click the "Direct Message" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

FWIW, Comcast doesn't do tree trimming.

@user_7nmexx And team: We were able to confirm proper maintenance is the responsibility of the property owner. There may be times when our techs intervene and perform emergency work to avoid interruptions for our customers, but they're not responsible for the tree trimming quality, or clean up. It is on the owner to ensure the property is maintained properly, and have the service/power lines always cleared for safety.
