Remote pairing

Just replaced the box and Netflix keeps coming up; trouble w pairing new remote

Hi there, @user_e0rf5v. You are at the right place for help with the remote. We don't want it to give you any troubles! With new boxes, you normally get our XR15 remote (without a setup button). If you have a different style, just let me know. This link shows pictures of each Xfinity remote and the name, https://www.xfinity.com/support/remotes. Let's try to factory reset the remote:

  1. Press and hold the A (triangle) and D (diamond) buttons at the same time for three seconds until the light at the top changes from red to green.
  2. Press 9-8-1.
  3. The light will blink blue three times. Your remote is now reset.

From there you should be able to try pairing it again:

  1. Aim the Voice Remote at your TV Box.
  2. Press the Microphone (Voice) button and say, "Program remote."
  3. You’ll receive a notification that your remote is paired for voice control.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions.
