Remote not working

Thanks for reaching out to us, as a customer myself who has pets I do understand the need to get a new remote from time to time. https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/lost-or-broken-remote-controls the fastest way to get a remote is to go right to our local Xfinity store and pick up one for free,  you can also jump on our awesome Xfinity app https://www.xfinity.com/apps and speak with our awesome Xfinity chat assistant and request to get a new remote!  Just go to search,  type in new remote and you should see a pop up option that says get new remote, which will then connect you with the chat assistant to process the order to send you out a new remote

Why did Xfinity remove the iPhone app for the TV remote for Xfinity where I can look at the Guide channel and everything else and change the channel from my phone why did you remove that? Who’s brilliant idea is that it should be fired
