Remote Control Replacements with a Bulk Contract at a Senior Living Facility
Hello,
I am the Technology Concierge at a Senior Living facility in South Florida. The facility has a bulk contract for approximately 300 residents. The contract includes WiFi service, Tv Entertainment service wit 2 set top boxes and 2 voice remotes for each resident. Many of the residents are age 85+ and no longer drive a vehicle. I understand that the physical equipment and account is the responsibility and in the name of each individual resident.
As happens, remotes break, fail, wear out and need to be replaced occasionally. As the Technology Concierge, I assist all the residents with all their technology issues, of which, replacing remote controls is one that the resident seniors ask me to help them with. Since many of the resident do not drive, and cannot go to the nearest Xfinity/Comcast store to swap out their defective remotes, how can I assist them or direct them to have a new remote mailed directly to them, or directly to me so I can help them in re-pairing a new remote for them, without them having the ability to drive? Is there someone at Comcast/Xfinity who can work with me to help assist these seniors on the Xfinity bulk plan?

Hey there, @user_ep5iwo! Thank you so much for reaching out to us here on the Xfinity Forums. I do understand completely when assisting the elderly with their services, and having remotes on hand. I would recommend reaching out to the point of contact at the facility that manages the bulk services, and have them reach out to a point of contact to ensure the exact process with getting remotes to the location. I would recommend seeing if there is an option to have 2-3 on hand at all times to ensure you are able to assist with getting the customers back up and running as quickly as possible. Please let us know if you have any other questions/concerns, we are happy to help!
