Relocating coax drop

Due to some construction at my home, I need to move the room in which the Xfinity internet coax drop is located and comes into my home permanently

How do I request this change?

Gotcha, so we wouldn't do any wall fishing. You would need to contact an electrician to get that outlet installed and then from there we would be able to come out and connect our line for you.

So do I need to DM support to get a ticket going?

Yes. We would want you to send a direct message and look to either open a ticket or schedule a technician to relocate your line.

To send a direct message:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

• Click the "Direct Message" icon in the upper right - it looks like a chat bubble

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon just to the right of Conversations

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line - do not use the Employee's name!

• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

• Press Enter to send it

To expedite your request, we ask that you please include your name, the account holder name (if different), and the service address.

Hey there, do you already have other coax outlets or would this be entirely new?

Only 1 coax outlet in the house and it's the one I can't use anymore.

So I need a new drop in a new room from the aerial feed to my home.

You need a new coaxial outlet installed, correct? That would be through an electrician.

This wouldn't require any fishing, just running a new line exterior to the home, drilling hole into the home and installing a wall mount.
