Refund

I made a purchase on 08/08/2026 at an Xfinity store in Tupelo, MS as an authorized manager on a family member’s account. I purchased four mobile devices that they would not give me in the store, instead they shipped it to the account holder on file. Fine. I still choose to go through with the purchase because it was a birthday gift. Estimated delivery date was 8/12 between 10:50 and 2:50. The only update I’ve received from FedEx is arriving in Chicago at 2:31 am on 8/12. Nothing since. I’ve contacted FedEx multiple times and even had a ticket created. Nothing still and today is 08/17. I’ve contacted Xfinity to receive a refund. One hour on the phone while trying to resolve I was being pitched another sale while not even having my current issue resolved. I was later told, nothing can be done until FedEx delivers. I didn’t pay FedEx to deliver, that was Xfinity’s choice for delivery. I paid xfinity for devices and Xfinity can’t even tell me how long they allow FedEx to hold packages from their paying customers before they can issue a refund. What if it was stolen? How long do we wait? The package requires a signature. So we don’t have the devices. Very unprofessional supervisor called me, telling me that she needed to speak with the account owner and not me, but as the manager they allowed me to make a purchase for something I don’t have. The supposed supervisor called me with LOTS of LOUD chatter in the background. Sounded like she was at a malls food court. The first representative didn’t even have one bit of noise, so this supposed supervisor was very unprofessional and questionable when I asked if she was the supervisor and if she could quite her background so I could hear. Her response was to hang up on me. This won’t be this end of hearing from me and this terrible experience, especially if I don’t receive reasonable support from Xfinity regarding this.
