refund

Good afternoon,

I am looking for a refund on my account because of a week's worth of frustration and numerous trips to the comcast xfinity store to exchange ineffectual equipment.

This is the timeline

2/27 my small cable box in the bedroom stopped working.

3/1 I exchanged for a new box, installed it and still not working.

3/4 I exchanged for a new box, installed it and still not working.

3/4 I spent over half hour trouble shooting myself, over 40 minutes with a online chat, and over half an hour on the phone (after of course being put on hold to reach a person). None of this trouble shooting was effective . This took up my evening of over and hour and a half with no working result.

3/5 I went to the Walmart store, bought new cables and tried the new cables. Still did not work

3/7 I exchanged for a new box (now this is 3 new boxes and remotes) and bought a new HDMI cord at Walmart. finally working

Prior to the breakdown, I had used cables, and no HDMI cord. For years, it was working fine with the cables. I would like a refund for the aggravation and 4 trips to the xfinity store, and Walmart for the new cords.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Thank you very much for reaching out to us here @user_6m2yfz. That does sound very frustrating, and I will be happy to check on any adjustments we can make on your account from here. Could you send me a direct message with the full name and complete address for your service?

To send a direct message [private message]:

Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.

   - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

   - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

   Press Enter to send it
