Refund for monthly payment and returning router
I have tried navigating the AI assistant and calls, which have been incredibly frustrating and unhelpful. I have a couple issues and questions that I need answered. First, I accidentally paid for an additional month of NOW wifi at my apartment, which I am moving out of. I was wondering if I could get a refund on that additional month payment. Secondly, since I am moving out, I have concerns about the wifi router. I am moving to another apartment with a month gap between leases, which is why I was wondering if I could still transfer my current router to my next apartment. For my next apartment, I was also planning on upgrading to the 200 mbps speed. What steps do I need to take, and would it be better to keep the router until my next lease starts, or return it, and get a new one.

Greetings, user_2q8p6y! Thanks for reaching out to our XFINITY Community forum. I totally understand how important it is to ensure you have your refund concerns addressed as well as prepare for your future service transfer. Rest assured, you have reached the right team to direct you towards a solution.
XFINITY NOW Wi-Fi is a prepaid service. Therefore, NOW Internet service may only be cancelled for a refund prior to service activation and no later than thirty days after date of original purchase. You can learn more here at NOW Internet FAQs. You can manage this request at XFINITY NOW Portal. For your question regarding the modem, you may recycle it as we would need to create a new account for your new residence once you have moved and then we can provide a new modem to you. Do you have a move-in date scheduled yet?
