Red light on my Xfinity Gateway MXB1 wall-mounted modem
I noticed that my wall-mounted (Xfinity Gateway MXB1) modem has a red light (vs. the usual yellow light). But, as far as I can tell both my internet & TV are working. I live in a senior community that now (since Feb 2026) receive both of these services as a bundle. What does the red light signify? How can I get the "normal" light back on? The username for my account is VV12-D.

Have you tried rebooting your modem to remove the red light on your modem?
