Receiving email asking to return equipment phishing or real?
I have received a few emails asking me to return xfinity equipment I am not sure I ever owned X1 Cable box. Email is coming from Complete Recovery Corporation [Edited: "Personal Information"] which does not seem legit. I wanted to see if I need to report this as a phishing email or if this is real I'm not sure what the X1 Cable box is. Appreciate any guidance you can share. Thank you.

Hello and Happy New Year, @user_d9c12c Thank You for taking the time to reach out to Xfinity Support, here on the Community Forum. We do partner with outside companies to collect unreturned equipment from our customers who have disconnected or are pending disconnection. These contractors may reach out to retrieve our equipment. Complete Recovery Corporation is one of these companies. An X1 Cable Box one of the TV box's that we use on our customer accounts. With that said, I would be happy to take a look at the account and assist in any way that I can. To get started, and to locate the account, please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address. Thanks!
