Receiev email saying new equipment coming becasue of a certificate issue

Received an email on 7/29 stating:

We’re sending you new internet equipment – at no additional cost
Your new Xfinity WiFi Gateway will arrive soon.
Due to a certificate expiration, your internet equipment will no longer be compatible with the Xfinity network starting on September 1, 2026, causing an interruption to your internet service.
To ensure you still have access to your internet service, we’re sending you a new and improved Xfinity WiFi Gateway at no additional cost. Once your equipment arrives, activate it using the Xfinity app or by following the enclosed instructions.

I haven't received any new equipment yet and no other communications.

Hello, @user_avvdiw thank you for creating a post after originally sending the unsolicited direct message. We like to ensure all our Xfinity Forums users aren't negatively affected, as repeated rule violations can lead to loss of Forum access we don't want that to happen. Thank you for the detailed information, and I would be reaching out as well regarding the equipment shipping as well if I was in your shoes.

I work remotely, so definitely wouldn't want my services to stop working. From experience, I've seen that when I've had equipment shipped out I've been able to locate a tracking number by logging into my account either online or through the Xfinity App > going to Billing or Account tab depending on which account access your using > then check for a tracking number.

- Do you see any tracking info going to the Billing or Account tab when logged in to your account?

There's nothing under account or billing regarding sending of new equipment. I mainly wanted to make sure it was legit as there's been no other communication in almost a month and no hardware received.
