Rebate for trade in phone

I was told it would take up to 3 months to receive an email with an electronic gift card in it to pay off the balance of the phone I traded in. I have not received it

Please sign in to your account using your Xfinity ID and password, go to the Devices page, and select Trade-In detail for the device associated with your trade-in. What does that status say?
