Need to report a down cable that is a trip and mowing hazard.  It is for a neighbor that is disabled.  Cable comes off the road at [Edited: "Personal Information"] but services the address at [Edited: "Personal Information"]

Hey there, @user_9ww9kr! Thank you for leaving a comment with similar concerns on this user's post. We've converted your comment into its own post in order to ensure swift and proper handling of this particular issue. And not to worry, you're in great hands with our Digital Care Team! We're great to work with since we can typically escalate these types of concerns with a ticket for our field team. First, to confirm, are anyone's services affected by this line being down?

Service is affected when it rains and wind blows strong. It is a main cable which is metal and about 3/4" in diameter.  The line has been on the ground since hurricane Helene but has a temporary cable attached from the cable to the house and part of that cable is on the ground also.

Thank you very much for the clarification @user_9ww9kr. I will be happy to look further into that from here. Could you send me a direct message with the full name and complete address for your service?

To send a direct message [private message]:

Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.

   - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

   - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

   Press Enter to send it
