questions about what happens if I cancel only my internet and keep the streaming service

I currently have Xfinity TV & Xfinity Internet.  I provided the NetGear to project the internet within our home.  I am considering changing internet providers due to the high cost of the service with Xfinity.  I want to know the following:  1) how do I cancel the internet service? 2) Can I use the new internet service with my Xfinity Streaming service? and 3) Will I need a new box for the TV?   I've been paying $10/mo for the stupid TV box after being told there wouldn't be a charge.  My bill shows $106 internet monthly fee with a discount for 2 services.  Now our electric company is offering monthly fee of $60/mo for 2 years at faster speeds with new fiber optics installed.

If Xfinity wants to lower my cost for the internet, even though it is slower, I would keep it just to avoid the hassle.  Thank you.

user_flamingomania All great questions thank you for stopping into our forums for help with your question on how and what if you cancel your Xfinity home internet and keep your TV services. We know customers' needs change and would hate to see your internet services go to another provider. You can check out new promotion options to see if there is a better deal for you with your current options using the rebundle page You can cancel your internet services by repackaging to a new promotion that does not include the internet so super easy to do with most levels of support. You can use your a different internet provider with the Xfinity Stream app but when you're connected to another network, or a neighbor's, a public Xfinity WiFi hotspot, or a mobile network, you can only watch DVR recordings and TV Go content you can find that option in your stream apps guide filter. To access your full line up a box would be recommended without Xfinity home internet. As for a new box, the depends on how old your current one is most of the wired TV box options will work with another provider service however some functions and apps on the box may not work with our Xfinity home network. If the rebundle tool does not have the option to show you pricing for just TV packages let me know and I would be happy to review TV-only pricing options with you.
