With canceling an account you can return the equipment to a UPS Store or a Xfinity Store. There should not be an issue with returning the equipment to any Xfinity location, however my preferred return option is through my local UPS store. It's easier for me to get to the UPS store, and it's closer, so when I've needed to return my cable boxes and modems I simply took the devices to the UPS store, they package and ship them back to us for free. You can also visit xfinity.com/returns for additional details.
