Question re: Xfinity Rewards code for free Universal tickets

Through Xfinity Rewards I recently claimed a promo code for two free 1-day tickets to Universal Orlando.  The T&Cs state in part the following:

"Must redeem offer by 5/10/26 and enter unique one-time use promo code at checkout by 10/25/26 to receive discount. Must use tickets by 10/25/26."

I was originally thinking that I have until 10/25 to apply the code on Universal's website and use the tickets.  However, some people seem to think that a Universal account needs to be created and the code then added to the account by today (5/10).  It would be helpful if someone from Xfinity can provide a definitive answer.  Thanks.

Thanks for posting on our community forums, marcus305. I'm happy to clarify this for you. You do not need to create a Universal Orlando account or apply the promo code on Universal’s website by today (5/10/26). Per the terms, 5/10/26 is only the deadline to redeem the offer through the Xfinity Membership website. Redeeming simply provides you with the unique, one-time promo code. Once you’ve redeemed it, you have until 10/25/26 to enter that code at checkout on Universal’s website and to use the tickets. After 5/10/26, the offer will no longer be available to redeem on the Xfinity Membership website, but as long as you’ve redeemed it by then, you’re all set.
