Property Easement

Like many others, I am trying to communicate with Xfinity trying to find access to an easement Comcast claims they have on my property. I have gone through chat and provided my address information and asked for documentation, but all I get back is a question asking what services can I help you with. This is urgent as an adjoining property is trying to bore through my property to connect to the box at my house. Of course I cannot speak to a representative.  Thank you.

user_8sjtco We appreciate you reaching out to us over our Community Forums. You should be able to verify a Comcast/Xfinity easement by reviewing your property deed, plat map, or title report at your local county recorder’s office. These legal documents will outline, and detail utility rights at your location.

Easements are generally the property line with about 5' or so for the easement for utility lines, which would include any telephone or cable lines, electric lines, etc.  If you have the pedestal on your property you can't deny Comcast the right to connect to it as it will service a number of homes within its vicinity.
