Property Damage

Comcast installed new service in our subdivision around March 2021. I had a landscape timbers and a sprinkler head where the box was going. The contracting company was Southeast Utilities. They ripped up my timbers and looks like they tried to manually push away the sprinkler lead. It’s now cracked and very crooked. HOA had a complaints box as there were a lot of issues. The bigger ones got fixed. I contacted Comcast 14 times since April 2nd and they keep saying someone will come out to fix it. The contractor calls 6 months later to say he received the request in April but was busy/forgot. I stopped receiving replies from the Comcast liaison until I stated I’m waiting for repairs before switching my service to Comcast. That got their attention but my property is still the same. Terrible follow through.

Hi @Medallion12

Thank you for connecting with us here on the Xfinity Support Forums and sharing your experience so far. I'm sorry to hear it has been far from the greatest, and I'd like the chance to help out. If you have a damages case open already with our Executive Teams, we can reach out and request updates and a more concrete timeline for repairs to your yard.

@XfinityBrie Hello Brie, I called the main customer service line last week and was told 72 hours for a response. I don’t know the status of the case I’ve not received replies from anyone.

Thank you for trying that and we would be happy to look into this further. Please send us a direct message with your full name, the address where this took place and the ticket number (if you have it)

"Search for Xfinity Support" won't work. To send a "Direct Messaging" message to Xfinity Support:

  • Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://comca.st/3kajO4e
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
  •  - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
  •  - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it

See https://comca.st/2XfS9FQ for an example.
