Property Damage Urgenf Repair

The service line installer trenched through my main sewer line pipe from running the communication line.  How does the repair or reimbursement process work.  Roto-Rooter rep is available to repair but I don’t if you need to see the damage before the repairs are  made.  How do we proceed. Need an answer immediately!!
