Property damage! Unacceptable

Comcast had a subcontractor come out over 2 mos ago to install new lines in front of my home.  In the process, the workers buckled my asphalt driveway! Additionally, they left a new box with the lid open, wired exposed, and hazard tape is wrapped about a utility box. Businesses are legally obligated to repair property damage caused by their actions. This needs immediate attention.

user_6s4hnl, Thank you for reaching out to Xfinity Support. Has this been reported to Xfinity? Have we had anyone out to take a look at the damage?

Yes, this issue was reported. The 1st person who came out thought it was a “house box” and said he couldn’t work on the green utility box. He said he would report it. The 2nd person who came out said she couldn’t do the repair on the box and would report it to her supervisor. The 3rd person who came out said the lid of the box is lifted because the subcontractors didn’t finish the job. Apparently, the rest of the cable has yet to be laid.
NO ONE has made any attempt to rectify the driveway damage to date.

user_6s4hnl, Thanks for sharing these details. That’s definitely not the experience we want for you. I appreciate you taking the time to explain everything. I’m really sorry to learn about this experience with having to deal with this, especially after multiple visits without a resolution. Based on what you’ve shared, it sounds like this needs to be addressed by our construction/maintenance team rather than standard technicians. I’m going to make sure this is properly escalated so the right team can take ownership and get the box secured and the driveway damage addressed. To move this forward, I’ll need to gather a few details would you mind sending us a direct message with your first/last name and full address by clicking the "direct message" icon on the upper right page of the forum page? Once you click on that, click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon. In the 'To:" line, input our shared handle "Xfinity Support" to send us a direct message. We’ll stay on top of this with you and make sure it doesn’t fall through the cracks again.
