Property Damage in backyard that was not finished

I had people from Xfinity in my backyard 2 months ago and they explained they are exchanging the optic cable. Two wholes were created in the yeard. One of them was filled the other one stays open since day. I have called multiple times Xfinity to report it and asking the damage to be repaired. Nothing has been done so far. This is a hazard because I have small kids coming over and dogs who can be trapped in the hole. I am assuming because it is in my backyard nobody cares sonce it is not going to be their fault if something happens. I am very frustrated with the situation. I just spoke with another representative this morning and I was advised to wait between 24-72 hrs for a technician to reach out to me. If this is not happening I will be forced to look for a legal services. I just don't understand how come someone damages your property and doesn't care after that. Very very disappointed.
