Property Damage: Contractor Destroyed Everything
On Tuesday, April 1, 2025, a water main was broken by a contractor hired by Comcast/Xfinity to perform a task which may have required him to attempt to bore a hole in the street approximately 60 feet in front of my house. Unfortunately, he punctured that water main, and the water rushed into my yard, and flooding my entire yard on all sides! For 6 hours water rushed into yard, immediately eroding soil and grass. My flowerbed structures and retainer walls have shifted, as well. I’ve been reaching out to Comcast/Xfinity, however, the customer service and communication has been EXTREMELY POOR, and I haven’t been able to speak with A PERSON about this at all. I’m highly upset, because the foundation of my home is jeopardy naw, because as the water receded, washed a great bit of soil away with it; threatening the integrity of my home’s stability. I have the at-fault contractor’s information, and we had call, in which he attempted to avoid accountability, before he finally admitted that he was responsible for the damage and hired by Comcast/Xfinity. I have that call recorded, my security system shows him creating the damage, my neighbors can attest to this event, and I have several videos of the broken water main spraying water into my yard. I haven’t been able any from Xfinity about this and I am [Edited: "Language"] now! I have already reached out to an attorney about the matter. Someone needs to contact as soon as possible about this damage to my home.

How can it be that your contractor damaged my property on April 1st, yet, here it is, April 28th, and I have not been contacted about my claim AT ALL?
The degree of customer concern and professionalism is insanely poor from Xfinity.
Not one of you guys has even escalated this matter to the proper level of management(at my request). This is a sick game of ‘cat and mouse’ for you all. It’s demeaning and disrespectful to me that I have beg for help in this instance. The damage was caused by your Xfinity contractor and nothing is being done to fix it.
