Property Damage Claim
On January 10, XFinity sent a contractor to our home to bury a cable line. The actions taken by the contractor that day constitute major violations of XFinity company policy. They dug in the middle of the winter (January), during a snow storm when they could not see the ground. They did not have a utility inspection completed prior to digging, and therefore dug right through my sceptic system, invisible dog fence, and sprinkler system. We received no notifications from XFinity that they would be working that day and therefore were not at home to monitor them until it was too late. The repairs to the sprinkler system alone have cost me $949. I have filed this complaint over the phone on several occasions, with no follow up from the company at all. I am now trying this method to request reimbursement or account credit. I will persist until this is resolved.
