Promotion changed and no longer qualified for incentive?

I signed up in person at an Xfinity store for one of those 5 years agreement with high speed Internet and they confirmed that the package includes a $200 gift card. I waited and checked and then waited and finally just gave up and called customer support. Just got told that I don't qualify for this incentive because I need more than what I signed up for. Seems kind of incorrect when IN STORE, I am told that I've done all I needed to do and it was guaranteed within 4-8 weeks. But now suddenly I need to sign up for more mobile lines (which by the way, I signed up for one already IN STORE that SAME DAY so you would think if this is true, I would have been told). Pretty disappointed and feeling a lot like I've been scammed and signed up for a falsely advertised package.

@okeiyas All of our orders have to go through a customer approval process where you have time to review the terms of the service and promotion you're signing up for before hitting the agree button. If the $200 gift card terms were not in those order details we wouldn't have much to go off of from a word of mouth interaction. Do you have anything in your confirmation email mentioning the gift card? Have you checked our incentive tracker for confirmation there isn't one attached to your services?
