Professional Install

What is your professional installation policy. Can you drill a hole to push coax cable from outside to inside? Can you wall fish wires? Can you install a coax cable inside? Does it matter what material the wall is made of? Your 89.99 installation fee is extremely vague on what it delivers, which I believe is purposeful. Why not get 89.99 off simply plugging in a modem? Thank you so much for your time providing this policy.

I appreciate you reaching out to our amazing team here on our Community Forums page! You asked some great questions as what all is included in your installation. I will say our expert technicians are not able to fish any wires into the home, since it involves electrical work. With that said, our techs will make sure all the lines are connected, equipment is set up and working as it should, signal is coming into the home, and any other work which may we needed by other field experts they will set up if they find it necessary. A lot of it depends on what is needed and when they come out they will let you know all the details. Please let us know if you have any further questions. We are here 24/7 for your support. :)

@XfinityKrystal​ Thank you for the response! The issue I am stuck on is the "field experts" and my $90 installation fee. How far does my $90.00 installation fee go? Will there be additional fees if a "field expert" is required? Since the tech was unable to connect my internet would that $90.00 offset the cost for the "field expert"?

There would not be any additional charges for any Field expert work. Any issue that would require that type of work would be on our end. The technicians can install any outlets if necessary as long as there is no wall fishing required.

Thank you so much for your reply. A technician came out to our house and was more than helpful with the install. He went above and beyond what I have delt with at previous homes. Thank you again for your time. The Tech that worked with us was 3226 from the District of Columbia.
