Problems unsubscribing from Xfinity Mobile emails

Hi,

I'm attempting to unsubscribe from Xfinity Mobile emails, but have been unsuccessful in doing so.

At the bottom of each such email, there is a line:

If you do not wish to receive emails like this in the future, please click here to unsubscribe.

Clicking the link takes me to a "Manage Xfinity Communication Preferences" page. I have unchecked every category, but I continue to receive these emails. (I'd actually like to receive mail for some of these categories, but over time, I unchecked them all trying to unsubscribe from the Xfinity Mobile emails, because I continued to get those emails.)

The most recent example of these mails arrived on May 12, 2025. It seems like I always receive two such emails every time I get such emails. The subject lines of these recent emails were:

Switch for the savings, stay for the service

and

Score an iPhone 16 ON US with Premium Unlimited

Would you please help me unsubscribe from these emails? (Bonus if you can let me know which category these emails are supposed to count as so that I don't accidentally resubscribe to them.) Thanks!

Thank you for reaching out @minibusy When making those setting changes it can take up to 60 days for any mailings already slated for you to get to be removed. Being an active customer the account may still receive information or notifications from Comcast regarding products or services to which he or she may currently subscribe.

Hi,

I have been receiving these emails for quite a while, and I believe I have unsubscribed from every category for greater than 60 days already. In addition, the FTC appears to require handling unsubscription requests within 10 business days:

https://www.ftc.gov/business-guidance/resources/can-spam-act-compliance-guide-business says

"7. Honor opt-out requests promptly. [...] You must honor a recipient’s opt-out request within 10 business days."

The emails are clearly marked as ads, and also claim to support unsubscription, so these do not appear to be related to required account emails:

"THIS EMAIL IS AN ADVERTISEMENT
You are receiving this email because you’ve requested to receive emails with information about Comcast products and services.
If you do not wish to receive emails like this in the future, please click here to unsubscribe."

minibusy, I know it can be frustrating to get these emails. Let's take a closer look and see what we can do.

Please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forum's page.

Here are the detailed steps to direct message us:

• Click "Sign In" if necessary

• Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "to" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list

• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

• Press Enter to send your message

I have the same issue, but I don't see the direct chat option. Is that just for the original poster? How can I get help with unsubscribing? I tried the AI chat but it only has canned responses / links.

I have the same problem too.  I just want to get emails about the things I have enabled in the manage section.  But I keep getting Xfinity Mobile emails, sometimes more than one a day.  I unsubscribed months ago, well over the 60 days, which is ridiculous by the way.  If your systems are that bad that it takes 60 days to update, you've got bigger issues than customers wanting to unsubscribe.  And good call minibusy about the FTC regulations.
