Problem with free Peacock subscription

According to my Xfinity invoice, I have a free two year subscription to Peacock, due to my having upgraded my internet service.  According to the Xfinity web site, my Peacock subscription is active.  When I follow the links to set up my Peacock account and password, the Peacock site lets me go through all the motions of account and password setup, then tells me that there is a problem and to try again later.  This happening repeatedly, I eventually contacted Peacock support.

When Peacock support was contacted, and after I sent them a copy of my Xfinity bill which clearly shows the free Peacock subscription, I was told that the problem is on Xfinity's end and that there is nothing they (Peacock supprt) can do to help me.  When I contacted Xfinity support, they tell me that everything is set up on their end and that, as far as they are concerned, my Peacock subscription is activated, so there is nothing that they need to do.

Is there anyone at either company who can help me with this Catch-22 situation ?

user_wx94ws - Thank you for choosing Xfinity and for joining us here on the Forums! We appreciate the opportunity to help. You mentioned that Peacock shows as active on your account. Are you able to sign in and access Peacock using your existing Xfinity login credentials? If so, are you able to stream and enjoy content normally, or are you encountering an error message when trying to log in? Please let us know what you're experiencing, and we'll be happy to take a closer look and help get things working properly.
