Problem with cable box

At first the remote said move closer. Than the box keeps shutting off. We get the welcome screen, connecting then it just shuts off. I tried all trouble shooting.  The AI won't allow me to talk to anyone or put in what the problem is directly.  I got a text message to schedule for a technician to come. I pressed option 1 for today Sunday, but no technician has arrived and we are going on a week paying for an extra TV service we can't even use. This has become a typical customer service issue. I am very tired of paying almost $400 a month for no support.
