Problem Getting Internet Essentials,

I have also had a great deal of trouble getting Internet essentials. Last year I applied for it but was told there was only one account allowed per residential address, I was living in the rear of a persons home. The person had their own Xfinity account under their own name, when he went out to work, he shut down his system, leaving me without service. I requested from Xfinity, that I get my own separate account, since I am low income, disabled and receiving SNAP.  I was denied. Since then, the gentleman that owned the house has moved out, and I am here alone. I was and am forced to pay full price for Xfinity service, when I am being told I am most certainly qualified for Internet essentials. It seems to me you are running some kind of a scam!

Hello joshua3528! I appreciate you coming to our community to share your situation, and we definitely want to help 👍 We know how stranded being without internet can leave you, so the last thing we want is to hold you back from starting the service you need. In the case of Internet Essentials, have you already attempted to double-check your eligibility directly at xfinity.com/learn/internet-service/internet-essentials?
