Possible scam/phishing email

Customers should be watchful for emails from Xfinity claiming bill payment suspension.  My wife and I both received the same email but even though the email address said Xfinity, the actual response email address was foreign.

I get them at least once a day now. Its kind of a game for us, to see which country of origin it comes from. My last one was Ireland.

I keep getting the same email. Saying service is suspended and the return email is resources@nitrocollege.com. The email looks legit but I always check against past billing emails.

This is still going around and happening. Just got one couple days ago stating my payment was suspended but my balance is correct. Always check the from email address!

This is the second time this has happened to me within a month.  First it was a "payment" issue and now it's a "billing issue"  Each time I was paid in full.  What made me angrier was today when I doublechecked with Xfinity to let them know about the "scam" email the "agent" tried to convince me that I got the email because I was on an older plan and needed to upgrade!  I said no because how could be account be suspended when I had service and was chatting online.  So be even more careful.

I've also received emails like this. First of all, I don't keep any payment method saved. I also checked the email address and it's not from Comcast. I also checked all of my bills (I have about 10 accounts) and none are past due. But the email looks legit, except for the email address! Glad to get confirmation though!

It is a Scam, I got it to and I have always paid bill my self and have no direct payment with them.

Do not give them your banking info. punch in xfinity and go to their real sight, see your payment history.

They will not cut you off that fast get a double bill next month.

I got this same email but have credit on my account to cover the full cost with some left over so I was very lost. The cycle hasn’t even ended. I’m glad I came across this.

Received the same email today and actually believe I received this same email a month or so ago.

I get emails like that as well. What's even weirder is that some of them spell it something like "Xflnltl", and the actual response address is clearly a Gmail address! I'm sight challenged, but I'm not that gullible when it comes to emails like those. I just forward them as attachments to abuse@comcast.net The trick is to alter the subject to say "Phishing Email", instead of "fwd: original subject".

I got a bill suspension email from [Edited: Personal Information].  When I clicked the link it asked me to sign in to Xfinity which I did so it looked legit.  Then it asked me for all my info: name, address, SSN, etc.  I knew then it was a scam cause Xfinity already has all my info, why would they ask for it again.  It is a shame how many people are out here scamming.  It’s really sad.  Imagine how many unknowing old people fall for this.

I received two emails today both with this subject- "Change a payment to avoid service interruption!" ( Does xfinity use exclamation marks in their emails?)

Then the email had this information:

"We haven't received your payment

Xfinity offers options to help you pay your bill.

Please make a payment to avoid service suspension."

I assume this is not a legitimate xfinity email as I just paid my bill 4 days ago. And the source of the email was not connected to xfinity so I came here to see who is trying to scam xfinity customers.

@user_dl204h It's very possible that the email is a spammer trying to impersonate Xfinity. From what I understand, Xfinity doesn't put exclamation marks in their emails.
