Possible illegal operation goin on in store

At the Xfinity store in 500 consumer square mayslanding nj .

i came to buy a new phone and the man’s name that helped was Elmer [Edited - Privacy] he gave me his card. He had a black gentlemen next to him with a grey black beard. Idk his name. Any way while doing the application elmer kept asking for my social I repeated it 4 times and I’m pretty sure the other gentleman wrote it down because after that he left and went to the back. It was very strange. The whole thing was very sketchy pls someone look in on this. This is not okay. Elmer seem like a nice good retail sail consultant but idk I can tell when something strange is happening. Pls investigate
