Possible Cable upgrade on [Edited]

Lines have been painted a couple times along our road for what I was told was a cable upgrade. When is this work to start? What will it entail? I work from home, I do not need any internet interruptions during business day and hours. Plus, no one from Xfinity has notified us who live on this road of what is going on!! I'm also concerned with the driveway apron being damaged. So what is going on, when will the work start & when are you going to notify us customers?

@user_njhn17 I completely understand your frustration and concern about the upcoming cable upgrade. It's truly inconvenient and worrying when you're not notified about work happening right outside your home, especially when you work remotely and rely on an internet connection. Thank you for reaching out to us here on the Xfinity Community Forums to voice these important questions and concerns.

I want to assure you that we take your concerns about potential service interruptions and property damage very seriously. To help me look into the specifics of this work in your area please send us a direct message with your:

  • Full name

  • Full service address

Once I have that information, I'll do my best to get you the answers you need about what's happening and when you can expect it.

To send a "Direct Message":

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon at the top of the page (it looks like a text bubble)

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list that appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
